Home insurance is a fantastic product and if you have it then you probably have the peace of mind that comes with it, but bear in mind that Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are two of the busiest days of the year for criminals. They know that there will be plenty of new things adorning Christmas trees everywhere and thus there will also be plenty of stuff available to steal. As such, whether you have home insurance or not, there are precuations that every homeowner and tenent should take.

First of all, make sure that all doors and windows are locked tonight before you head to bed. You should also think about your home when you go out tomorrow. You should leave lights on where possible to make it appear that someone is at home. Leave curtains drawn so they cannot case the place and make sure that alarm systems are set just in case. Hopefully that will ensure that you are able to have a very merry Christmas!
