Getting a new van can be a great day for a workman. After years of driving the same old battered van and shifting your tools in and out of the back of it you can finally breathe a sigh of relief as now you have a new toy. Perhaps a commercial transit van fits the bill as they are spacious, comfortable, offers all the latest mod cons and it still provides you with enough practical space to move your tools in and out of the van and to various locations with great ease.

So now that you have your van what next? Well, many people who decide to get a new van might want to put their business details on the side, a company name, telephone number, website address and email so that people can contact you. This can be done with the help of a local designer and printer and is a great way to show people that you are out and about working and is free advertising once it has been paid for.

There are always additions that you can make to the body work that you could customise it. Lower the suspension, body kits and tinted windows are always popular choices but may not be 100% practical in your line of work, so think about this before you rush out and do it.

No van would be complete with out the much sought after tree fresh smell. An air freshener always makes a great addition to a work van, and with so much choice on the air freshener market then you will be able to pick something that is a little more quirky and reflects your personality. You might however want to wait until the ‘new van smell’ has disappeared as this is one of the joys of owning a new van.

Last but no means least there is the customary cuddly toy that you usually see either on the dash board of strapped to the grill on the front of the van. This can be any type of toy that you want an elephant, monkey, duck or even a football mascot. This really makes the van individual.

That should provide you a few ideas that should brighten up your new van and make it a little more personal.
