Earlier this month 2 paramedics attending the scene of an accident were added to the long list of December road fatalities.It is especially sad when those who try to save lives are themselves threatened by irresponsible driving behaviour of motorists near accident scenes!

The first hour after an accident is known as the Golden Hour – and paramedics might be so focused on saving lives that safety around them is not given the necessary attention.

We would like to urge all drivers to drive with caution at the scene of an accident – irrespective whether the accident scene has been secured with marker or not.
